House Rules

Violation of any of the following rules will not be tolerated, and will result in either, eviction from the premises & your stay cancelled, or a withholding of your breakages deposit.  

• 1) Strictly no smoking anywhere in the units.
• 2) Only paying guests that have booked will be allowed in the accommodation at any time, no visitors, are permitted. Gatherings of more than the maximum number in your group, or parties, will not be permitted
• 3) For your own safety, please make sure the gate is closed at all times and that you lock up when leaving the property and at night
• 4) Since this is a residential area, noise disturbances will be dealt with by authorities and if these persist, it will lead to the guests being asked to vacate the premises immediately, the rest of their stay being cancelled & withholding your breakages deposit.
• 5) Illegal substances are not permitted anywhere on the premises
• 6) Please note that there is a pool in the back garden and swimming is strictly at your own risk. Children must be monitored at all times when in the pool area. The pool cannot be used after 6 pm.
• 7) Danville Forest Guest House will not be held liable for any injuries or loss of personal property of our guests during their stay
• 8) Guests will be liable to pay for any damages made to the property or breakages at the accommodation
• 9) Danville Forest Guest House reserves the right to have anyone not complying with the aforementioned house rules vacate the accommodation immediately

Health and Safety

We have put specific measures in place to ensure the safety of our employees and our guests. On a daily basis, we are working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning.

Danville Forest Guest House’s main priority is to ensure the health, safety, and security of our employees, guests and business partners. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented strict hygiene measures designed to ensure your safety and peace of mind from check-in to check-out.

Staff Training and Protocols

All staff members have been trained with clear information, preventative measures and hygiene protocols in relation to the nature of COVID-19 and related viruses.

Cleaning and Disinfecting Procedures

We regularly make use of effective cleaning products to disinfect all areas and high touch points used by staff and guests including dining rooms and guest rooms.

Check-in Procedure

To prevent a potentially high-risk person from entering our guest house, all guests are required to be screened on arrival, which includes sanitising of hands, completing a health questionnaire, and having their temperature taken.

Laundry

We regularly disinfect all bedding, reusable face masks and garments. We are able to do laundry for long stays at R50 per a load of laundry. Ironing excluded – ironing board and iron to be provided upon request.
